The short answers
Is it a real substance?
Yes. BPC-157 is a lab-made peptide: protein building blocks linked in a short chain.
Is healing in people proven?
As of September 2026, completed injury studies had not reported results that compared BPC-157 against a treatment without it. The small reports available do not prove that BPC-157 heals injuries in people.
Does a doctor’s licence settle this?
A doctor’s licence does not show that a pharmacy may use BPC-157. As of September 2026, ordinary pharmacies cannot legally use BPC-157 as an ingredient in medicines made to order.
